Introduction
Our society is
in melt-down. Uncontrolled chaos exists on all fronts -- fueled by
greed, power and a lack of consideration for humankind and misunderstanding
of morality. Can our society be saved?
Politicians out of control
Our politicians (right, left
and others) are bought and paid for by special interests. They lie,
mislead and speak in "spin-gibberish" to confuse the people.
The only interest of most politicians is feeding their egos through
verbal self flatulation and getting reelected.
It is the hot air from our government officials that is adding to the
upcoming global warming catastrophe.
Political Dope Addicts
There is very little difference
between most politicians and dope addicts. The only difference is the
politicians dope of choice -- power, influence, control and greed.
They claim themselves to be moral people, but they are not. Their
addiction is so great that they are able to completely tune-out the
needs of humankind.
Corporate Influence & Crime
Criminal corporate executives
are ignored while our legal systems spend most of their time prosecuting
small time criminals. Corporate greed and power is out of control.
Massive numbers of our citizens are being injured and killed by unsafe
drugs. Why? Due to corporate influence, the responsible government agencies refuse to
remove the drugs from the market. Citizens
in other countries can purchase medications at a fraction of
the cost in the U.S. However, our citizens have to lay sick and die
because our government won't allow us to purchase those low
cost drugs from a foreign country. Why? Because of corporate greed
and power control over our government. This issue is documented on many internet sites.
Morality
What is "morality?" The common misconception
is that morality has something to do with religion. It does not. Morality
is based on how you treat others and our planet. Praying for help

Cheerleaders Don't Help
People in
general are great cheerleaders. That is, they will cheer someone
else on to solve their problems, but refuse to help -- even though
their way of life is in jeopardy. Another author refers to people as "sheeple" --
like sheep who don't think for themselves and happily follow some charismatic
leader off the cliff.
Are People Politically Brain-Dead?
People in general seem to be politically brain-dead. They are like
the stubborn mule who has to be hit in the head with a board just
to get its attention. A good analogy would be that the majority of
people lead their lives just like an alcoholic who hasn't hit bottom
yet. It is sad to say that many alcoholics have to hit bottom --
some waking in a gutter -- before they finally realize that they
have destroyed their lives. Only then will they do something to correct
the problem.
Can our country and our way of life be saved?
Yes,
but the sad fact is that is that our economy will probably have to
be almost completely destroyed before anyone will do anything about
it -- massive hardships and possibly another depression. To get control
of the problem people have to rise up in mass -- stop being cheerleaders
-- and demand that our government fix itself. However, that isn't likely
to happen until the "big
collapse of our economy."
Historical Disasters
History shows that many other major powers
of the past didn't wake up in time and their societies are now gone.
Will the majority of the people in the U.S. wake up in time to save
our country? The answer is in your hands!
