Are you being fooled?

What is Morality? The common misconception is that morality has something to do with religion. It does not. Morality is based on how you treat yourself, others, our planet, animals and all living things. Praying for help does not make you a moral person, but helping does.

Fake Morality for Votes: To get votes, self-righteous government officials talk about going to church and how religious they are. Is it moral to watch people get sick and die because they can't afford over priced medications and medical care? Is morality catering to corporate greed and ignoring the needs of the people? Is morality trying to destroy our social security system and our environment. Is it moral to not solve our immigration problems to protect us from terrorists and criminals? Is morality watching millions of Americans lose their jobs to outsourcing?

Terri Schiavo: I think it was disgusting to watch how many people in congress and the President Bush tried to use the tragic Terri Schiavo issue in an attempt to get votes. However, they shot themselves in the foot. The truly religious saw through their disgusting public demonstration of pseudo morality just to get votes.
